In a smooth velvet called palatine, this Camargue herdsman's ceremonial vest is designed for riding horses. Palatine velvet is soft to the touch, durable, taking on a beautiful patina over time. Trimmed with black bias (soutache) on the front, satin back with paisley prints, it is dressy and elegant. This vest can be worn fitted and structured in a “tuxedo” style or more relaxed open over a casual shirt.
