Product History

Rustic fabric made from 100% carded sheep's wool. Burel cloth is the result of several specific steps in the manufacturing process. After the raw wool has been sheared, washed, and spun, it is put through the warp and then onto the loom. Once weaving is complete, the fabric is fulled to tighten the threads. The cloth shrinks and gains density, giving the fabric its strength and natural impermeability to water, wind, and cold.
