Lafont
Founded in 1844 by Adolphe Lafont, this Lyon-based manufacturer is one of France's iconic workwear brands. It owes part of its renown to the dungarees (work trousers with an added bib), the original model of which, the 406 dungarees, remains in the Lafont catalog more than 100 years after its creation. Acquired in 2016 by Cepovett, a leading French professional clothing company, Lafont aims to modernize its lines while drawing on the brand's heritage, as exemplified by the re-release of the 406 dungarees.
