LA BLOUSE DE LYON presents a 100% French-made collaborative capsule collection. It was obvious to us to have Le Laboureur (Saône et Loire) produce a "coltin" jacket and "largeot" trousers, iconic pieces of corporate attire, in denim fabric, the original material of workwear, which we had woven at Telatex (Vosges).

IMPORTANT: Each small series production is unique because the fabric can vary in shades of indigo and weave.

Our 400 grs raw denim canvas is a real technical performance with its 100% organic cotton, spun and woven in the Vosges by Telatex. Founded in 1840 by the Kohler family in Ferdrupt, Telatex is one of the last French weaving factories.

Product History

Denim, the original material of workwear, has its origins in the 18th century. Under the name of "sergé de Nîmes", denim, originally from France, is woven with warp threads in "Genoa blue", which will thus give the term "Jean" to pants made from this fabric. The idea of ​​transforming this economical and solid fabric into workwear came at the end of the 19th century and was exported to California.

Wash as little as possible to keep the original raw appearance. Otherwise always inside out, cold or 30° in the machine, with a little white vinegar in the softener compartment. Ideally by hand, leaving it to soak with very little detergent.
