Le Laboureur X La Blouse of Lyon

La Blouse De Lyon presents a collaborative capsule collection, 100% French-made:
Two iconic pieces of French workwear, the “coltin” jacket and the “largeot” pants. In denim canvas with brushed metal buttons, this capsule collection is faithful to the roots of US jeans but in a French workwear spirit.
Denim, the original material of workwear, has its origins in the 18th century. Under the name of "sergé de Nîmes", denim, originating from France, is woven with warp threads in "Genoa blue", which will thus give the term "Jean" to the trousers made from this fabric. The idea of transforming this economical and strong fabric into work clothing came at the end of the 19th century and was exported to California. Our 400 grs raw denim canvas is a real technical performance with its 100% organic cotton, spun and woven in the Vosges by Telatex. Founded in 1840 by the Kohler family in Ferdrupt, Telatex is one of the last French weaving factories.
The clothes are made by Le Laboureur. The factory, founded in 1956, owes its reputation to the production of corporate clothing in pure respect for tradition and the know-how of yesteryear.
La Blouse de Lyon has specialized in work and traditional clothing since 1937. This confidential address, a must for artisans and companions of the Duty, today brings together a clientele in search of authenticity. Much more than a boutique, it is a manifesto for sustainable fashion, a tribute to artisanal know-how, the reflection of a committed lifestyle.
