Corduroy vest - black
Combined with the largeot trousers and the cord velvet jacket, the so-called "tailor" waistcoat is the piece that completes the Companion's outfit. The cord velvet (300 lines/m) ensures warmth and robustness. It was in this coarsely ribbed fabric, originating from England, that the first largeot was designed by Adolphe Lafont in 1896. Made in France (Digoin, Burgundy). Available in 3 colors corresponding to the Companion guilds: Black for carpenters and roofers, Brown for cabinetmakers and Hazelnut for joiners. A little stiff when new, it will quickly soften to become fluid, like a real second skin.
