Corded velvet jacket - black
Formerly called coltin (or colletin) by the building trades, this velvet jacket, along with the wide-legged trousers, is the emblematic piece of carpenters' clothing. Its shape has not changed over the years, and its resistance to time and wear still makes it a garment as popular on the construction site as it is in the city. The corded velvet (300 lines/m) ensures warmth and robustness. Made in France (Digoin, Burgundy). Available in 3 colors corresponding to the Compagnons trades: Black for carpenters and roofers, Brown for cabinetmakers, and Hazelnut for joiners. The velvet will quickly soften to become fluid, like a real second skin.
