Originally a shepherd's jacket made from carded wool with a rustic look. Mixed, this work jacket is loose, comfortable and hard-wearing. It can be worn in the mid-season as well as in winter. The brown and ecru colors are natural, without dye or additives. The brown wool has the particularity of coming from black Ouessant sheep. The wool of the other colors comes from the French sheep sector. French manufacture (Digoin, Burgundy). Loose fit. Size equivalence: 0=S / 1=M / 2=L / 3=XL / 4=2XL / 5=3XL

Product History

History of Burel wool cloth: Rustic fabric made from 100% carded sheep's wool. Burel cloth is the result of several specific steps in the manufacturing process. After the raw wool has been sheared, washed and spun, it is put into the warping machine and then onto the loom. Once the weaving is finished, the fabric will be fulled to tighten the threads. The cloth shrinks and gains density, giving the fabric its strength and a natural impermeability to water, wind and cold.
