Some consider it the ancestor of the largeot. The Saint-Hubert trousers with drawstrings are made of cotton coutil and can be worn with braided suspenders. Coutil is a heavy, tightly woven fabric, made with a twill, cross, and sometimes herringbone weave, and featuring oblique ribbing on both the front and back. Ceremonial trousers for the Compagnons, they are also used for period films due to their retro and dressy look. Made in France (Digoin, Burgundy).
