Saint-Hubert trousers with straps - Le Laboureur
Some consider it the ancestor of the largeot. The Saint-Hubert trousers with pull-on straps are made of cotton ticking and can be worn with braided suspenders. The ticking is a heavy fabric with a tight weave, made with a twill, crossed and sometimes herringbone weave, and presenting oblique ribbing effects on the right and wrong sides. Ceremonial trousers for the Compagnons, they are also used for period films because of their retro and dressy appearance. French manufacture (Digoin, Burgundy).
