Le Laboureur

A timeless Laboureur jacket with a historic cut that ensures ease and comfort during exercise. This entry-level model is not made in Digoin (Burgundy) but in Tunisia. The fabric is identical to the Burgundy range, but the neckline is slightly wider. The Laboureur's embroidered interior label is absent. Unisex, worn as a jacket or over a shirt, it comes in Bugatti blue or navy.

Product History

The work "blue", called "coltin": Work clothing is still widely associated today with the "work blue" which finds its origin in its famous Prussian blue color (or Berlin blue) discovered at the beginning of the 18th century. Very inexpensive to produce and easy to clean, it became established in maritime and military professions, then in industry to very quickly become that of workers, to the point of becoming a social label, even a symbol of protest during the great strikes of May 68 where we saw "blues" burning. It was then that it changed shoulders to dress students and began to inspire great couturiers. It became an essential basic in our wardrobes for its sobriety and timelessness.
